If you're traveling by car from central Kai, head east on Route 20 (Chuo Expressway) towards Kofu. Continue on Route 20 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 52. Merge onto Route 52 towards Shizuoka. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit for Shibamata. Follow the signs to Shibamata Taishakuten. Parking is available near the temple, but be aware that it may incur a fee, usually around ¥500 for a few hours.

To reach Shibamata Taishakuten via public transportation, start by boarding a local train at Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Main Line towards Tokyo and transfer at Takao Station to the JR Yokohama Line. Continue until you reach Shinjuku Station, where you will transfer to the Toei Asakusa Line. Take the train towards Nishi-Magome and get off at Shibamata Station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Shibamata Taishakuten. Note that train fares may vary, but expect to pay around ¥1,500 one way.
