Car
If you're driving from Kai, get onto the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) heading towards Tokyo. Continue on the expressway for approximately 90 km until you reach the Ikebukuro Junction. Take the exit onto the Shuto Expressway (首都高速道路) towards Shinjuku. Follow signs for Shinjuku and then take the exit towards Chuo City. Once you exit, continue straight until you reach Chuo City. Look for signs directing you to Suitengu Shrine, located at 2 Chome-4-1 Nihonbashikakigaracho. There are parking facilities nearby, but be mindful of the parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Suitengu Shrine by public transport, start from Kai and take a train from the Kai Station to Shinjuku Station. The journey involves a transfer; take the JR Chuo Line (中央線) towards Tokyo and switch to the JR Sobu Line (総武線) at Shinjuku Station. From Shinjuku, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line towards Ikebukuro and get off at the Otemachi Station. From Otemachi, take Exit A1 and walk towards Nihonbashikakigaracho. It is about a 15-minute walk to Suitengu Shrine. The shrine is located at 2 Chome-4-1 Nihonbashikakigaracho.
