If you are driving from central Kai, start by heading east on Route 20. Continue on Route 20 until you reach the junction with Route 139. Merge onto Route 139 and follow the signs for Tokyo. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will enter Tokyo. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Sumida City. Once you approach Oshiage, look for parking facilities around Tokyo Skytree Town. The Sumida Aquarium is located on the 5th and 6th floors of the Skytree Town.

To reach the Sumida Aquarium via public transportation from Kai, start by taking the JR Chuo Line from Kai City Station to Takao Station. Transfer to the JR Chuo Line Rapid Service towards Tokyo Station. Alight at Oshiage Station. From the station, follow the signs to Tokyo Skytree Town. The aquarium is located on the 5th and 6th floors of the complex. It's a short walk from the station, and there are clear signs to guide you.
