Car
If you're driving, start from central Kai and head east on Route 20. Continue on this road until you reach the interchange for Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 and follow the signs for Tokyo. After approximately 25 km, take the exit toward Minato City. Follow the signs for Kaigan and then turn onto Chome-16-1 Kaigan. The Takeshiba Ship Terminal will be on your right. There is parking available near the terminal.
Public Transportation
To reach Takeshiba Ship Terminal via public transport, start at Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Line train towards Tokyo Station. After about 30 minutes, transfer at Tokyo Station to the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line. Ride for 2 more stops and get off at Hamamatsucho Station. From Hamamatsucho, exit the station and take the Tokyo Monorail to Takeshiba Station. The terminal is a short walk from there, following signs for Takeshiba Ship Terminal.
