Car

If you're driving from central Kai, head towards Route 20 (Chuo Expressway). Merge onto the expressway and continue for about 30 kilometers towards Tokyo. Take the exit for Shinjuku and follow signs for Shinjuku Station. Once you're near Shinjuku, you can either park at a nearby parking facility or continue into Minato City. Follow signs towards Minato City, and use a navigation app to guide you to 5 Chome-21-9 Shirokanedai. The museum will be on your right.
Public Transportation

From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. After about 45 minutes, transfer at Shinjuku Station to the Toei Oedo Line. Ride the Oedo Line to Aoyama-itchome Station. From there, take Exit 1 and walk for approximately 10 minutes. Head south on Aoyama-dori, turn left onto Shirokanedai, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum will be on your left at 5 Chome-21-9.
