Car
If you're driving from central Kai, take Route 20 heading east towards Tokyo. After approximately 30 kilometers, merge onto the Chuo Expressway (towards Tokyo). Follow the expressway for about 60 kilometers and then take the exit for Shinjuku. Continue onto the Shinjuku Bypass, then follow signs for Ikebukuro. Once in Ikebukuro, look for signs directing you to Nishiikebukuro. The Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre is located at 1 Chome-8-1 Nishiikebukuro, and you can find parking nearby. Make sure to check for parking availability before heading out.

Public Transportation
To reach the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre using public transport, start at Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) towards Tokyo Station. After about 50 minutes, transfer at Shinjuku Station to the JR Yamanote Line (inner loop) towards Ikebukuro. Stay on this train for about 10 minutes until you reach Ikebukuro Station. Once at Ikebukuro, exit the station and head towards the West Exit. From there, it is a 10-15 minute walk to the theatre. Follow the signs for Nishiikebukuro and you will find the theatre at 1 Chome-8-1 Nishiikebukuro. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Ikebukuro Station for a quicker journey.
