Car

If you are driving, start from the center of Kai. Head east on Route 20, and continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the Kokubunji area in Tokyo. Look for the signs indicating Minamicho and turn left onto Minamicho. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Tonogayato Garden on your right at 2 Chome-16 Minamicho, Kokubunji.

If you prefer public transportation, take the JR Chuo Line from Kai Station towards Tokyo. After about a 30-minute ride, get off at Kokubunji Station. Exit the station and walk towards the east exit. From there, take the bus number 5 towards Minamicho and get off at the Minamicho stop. Tonogayato Garden will be a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop, located at 2 Chome-16 Minamicho.
