Car
If you're driving from the center of Kai, take Route 20 heading northwest. Follow it for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 52. Merge onto Route 52 and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. You will then see signs directing you to Sakaiminato. Continue on Route 9 until you reach the city. Once in Sakaiminato, navigate to 62-1 Taishomachi. Look for parking options nearby as the shrine is located in a densely populated area.
Public Transportation
Start your journey at the nearest train station in Kai. Take the JR Chuo Line to Kofu Station, which usually takes about 20 minutes. From Kofu Station, transfer to the JR Takasaki Line and head towards Sakaiminato. The total travel time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on transfer times. Once you arrive at Sakaiminato Station, exit the station and walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Yokai Shrine located at 62-1 Taishomachi. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Sakaiminato Station to the shrine, which may involve a small fare.
