Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Kai and head southeast on Route 20. Follow the signs for Tokyo and merge onto the Chuo Expressway. Continue on the Chuo Expressway until you reach the interchange for the Central Circular Route (C1) towards Ikebukuro. Stay on the C1 until you reach the Bunkyo area. Take the exit for Yushima and follow the signs to 3 Chome-30-1 Yushima, Bunkyo City. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Yushima Shrine via public transportation, start at the nearest train station in Kai. Take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. At Shinjuku Station, transfer to the JR Sobu Line and take it towards Chiba. Get off at Akihabara Station. From Akihabara Station, take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line towards Naka-Meguro and get off at Nezu Station. From Nezu Station, it is a 10-minute walk to Yushima Shrine. Exit the station and head west on Yushima Street until you reach the shrine at 3 Chome-30-1 Yushima.
