For those using public transportation, begin at the Kai City Station. Board a train on the JR Chuo Line toward Tokyo. After about 40 minutes, transfer at Shinjuku Station to the Odakyu Line. Take the Odakyu Line train toward Odawara and get off at Kamiyama-cho Station. From there, you can catch a local bus (check local schedules) heading toward Setagaya City. Disembark at the 2 Chome Noge bus stop, and the Zen-yōji Temple is just a short walk from there.
