Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Inari Station. The ride is approximately 5 minutes and costs ¥150. Fushimi Inari Taisha is located right outside Inari Station. Alternatively, take the Keihan Line to Fushimi Inari Station, followed by a short 5-7 minute walk east. A KINTETSU RAIL PASS can also be used.
Walking
From Keihan Fushimi Inari Station, walk east for about 5-7 minutes. Follow the signs and the flow of people. You'll pass through a temple town with souvenir shops and restaurants. Cross the Inari Bridge and the JR line crossing to reach the main approach to Fushimi Inari Taisha.
Taxi
A taxi from Kyoto Station to Fushimi Inari Taisha takes approximately 15 minutes and costs between ¥3,200 and ¥3,900. Note: Parking around Fushimi Inari Taisha is limited and can be very crowded. It is recommended to use public transportation.
