Car
From Tokyo, take the Tohoku Expressway (E4) towards Utsunomiya. After approximately 100 km, take the exit for Nikko (Nikko IC). Follow the signs for Nikko and continue on Route 119 for about 20 km. Once you enter Nikko, follow the signs to Tokorono. As you approach Tokorono, keep an eye out for Choji Waterfall signs. The waterfall is located in a natural area; you may need to park in a nearby designated area and walk a short path to reach the waterfall.
Train and Bus
From Tokyo, take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen to Utsunomiya Station. Transfer to the JR Nikko Line and take a train to Nikko Station. Once you arrive at Nikko Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located nearby. Board the bus bound for 'Yutaki' or 'Choji Waterfall.' The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Choji Waterfall stop, and you will find the waterfall within walking distance.
