If you're driving, head towards Karuizawa in Nagano Prefecture. From Tokyo, take the Nagano Expressway (E18) and exit at the Karuizawa Interchange. Once you exit, follow Route 18 towards the town center. Continue on Karuizawa's main road until you reach Karuizawahigashi 8. Yagasaki Park is located at 8 Karuizawahigashi, Karuizawa, Kitasaku District, Nagano 389-0104, and there are parking facilities available nearby. Be aware that tolls apply on the expressway, which may cost around ¥2,000-¥3,000.
Train
To reach Yagasaki Park via public transportation, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo Station to Karuizawa Station. This trip takes approximately 1 hour and costs about ¥6,000-¥8,000 for a one-way ticket, depending on the service. Upon arrival at Karuizawa Station, exit the station and take a local bus (Karuizawa Town Bus) towards the Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza. Get off at the Yagasaki Park (八ヶ崎公園) stop, which is about a 5-minute walk from the park entrance.
