At 296.3 meters tall, it was the tallest building in Japan until 2014.Located on the 69th floor, the Sky Garden provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding cityscape. Visitors can see Yokohama's vibrant Minato Mirai district, the sprawling metropolis of Tokyo, and, on clear days, the majestic Mount Fuji. The Sky Garden is accessible via what were once the world's fastest elevators, whisking visitors to the top in approximately 40 seconds.Inside the Sky Garden, guests can relax on comfortable seating while soaking in the views. The Yokohama Sky Library offers a selection of books about Yokohama, Kanagawa, and the sky. A café provides refreshments, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery with a beverage in hand. The Sky Garden is a destination for photography enthusiasts and those seeking a romantic evening view of the city lights.Note that the Sky Garden is scheduled to temporarily close after New Year's Eve on December 31, 2025, for large-scale renovations and is expected to reopen sometime in or after 2028.
