Public Transportation
If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line (the green line) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Shijo Station (approximately 5 stops). From Shijo Station, transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line at Karasuma Station (which is connected to Shijo Station). Board the train heading towards Katsura and get off at Kawaramachi Station (1 stop). Once you exit the station, walk east along Shijo Street, then turn south onto Sanjo Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Shimokawaracho. Turn left and walk for about 5 minutes. Ryōzen Kannon Temple will be on your right at 526-2 Shimokawaracho.

If you are driving from Osaka, take the Meishin Expressway towards Kyoto. Once you reach the Kyoto exit, follow signs for Route 1 (Kyoto City). After entering the city, follow signs towards Gion and Higashiyama. As you approach Gion, turn onto Sanjo Street and head east. Continue until you reach Shimokawaracho. Turn left onto Shimokawaracho, and you will find Ryōzen Kannon Temple on your right at 526-2 Shimokawaracho. Be aware that parking might be limited in the area, so plan accordingly.

From Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and follow the earlier instructions from Kyoto Station to reach Ryōzen Kannon Temple.
