Getting There

  • By Train

    Start your journey at Osaka Station. Take the Kintetsu Osaka Line bound for Yoshino. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Yoshino Station, exit and follow the signs to the Yoshino Ropeway Station. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station. Take the ropeway up to Yoshinoyama Station. From there, it’s a scenic 15-minute walk to Yoshino Jingu, located at 3226 Yoshinoyama, Yoshino, Nara 639-3115.

  • By Car

    If you're driving, start on the Nishi-Meihan Expressway. Take the exit at Yamato-Koriyama and follow Route 24 toward Yoshino. The drive takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from central Osaka, depending on traffic. Upon arriving in Yoshino, look for signs to parking areas near Yoshino Jingu. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around ¥500 for a day.

  • By Bus

    From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus bound for Yoshino. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and drops you near the Yoshino area. After getting off, you can either walk to Yoshino Jingu (which is about a 30-minute walk uphill) or take a local taxi for a more direct route. Taxi fares should be around ¥1,500 to ¥2,000.
