Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Nara Park, exit the park and head towards the main road, Sanjo-dori. Walk north along Sanjo-dori for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Naramachi. Turn right onto Naramachi Street and continue walking straight for about 5 minutes. As you approach the end of Naramachi Street, you will see Naramachi Nigiwai-no-le on your left at 5 Nakanoshinyacho.

    If you are starting from Nara Station, exit the station and head south on the main road, Kintetsu Nara Line. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with Sanjo-dori. Turn left onto Sanjo-dori and walk for about 5 minutes. When you reach Naramachi Street, turn right and continue for another 5 minutes until you see Naramachi Nigiwai-no-le on your left at 5 Nakanoshinyacho.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus (bound for Kofuku-ji or Nara Park). Get off at the 'Naramachi' stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. Once you get off, walk straight for about 5 minutes along Naramachi Street, and Naramachi Nigiwai-no-le will be on your left at 5 Nakanoshinyacho.
