Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line to Shijo Station. Transfer to the Keihan Main Line and get off at Tofukuji Station. Exit Tofukuji Station and walk east towards Tofuku-ji Temple. Continue straight until you reach Imakumano Tsuruginomiyacho Street, then turn left. Tsurugi Shrine is located at number 13. The walk from Tofukuji Station takes about 15 minutes. From Tofuku-ji Temple, head east. Walk along the road until you reach Imakumano Tsuruginomiyacho Street. Turn left onto Imakumano Tsuruginomiyacho Street. Tsurugi Shrine will be on your left at number 13. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.
