Public Transportation
If you're starting from Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Tofukuji Station. From Tofukuji Station, exit and walk towards the Tofuku-ji Temple. Once you reach Tofuku-ji Temple, walk north along the road. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Imakumano Tsuruginomiyacho. The Tsurugi Shrine will be on your right.

Starting from Kyoto Station, head east on Shichijo-dori Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Higashioji-dori. Turn right onto Higashioji-dori and follow the road for about 2 km. At the next major intersection, turn left onto Imakumano Tsuruginomiyacho. The Tsurugi Shrine will be on your left. There is parking available nearby, but it may be limited during peak times.
