Walking
From the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, head south toward the Togetsukyo Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through Sagano and see signs for Rankyo Gorge. The entrance is located on the left side of the road. The walk should take around 20-30 minutes.

From Arashiyama Station, board the JR San-in Line train towards Sonobe. After one stop, get off at Saga-Arashiyama Station. From there, exit the station and head south towards the Togetsukyo Bridge. Cross the bridge and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Rankyo Gorge. The total travel time is approximately 15-20 minutes, including the train ride and walking.

From Arashiyama, take the Kyoto City Bus No. 28 from the Arashiyama Station bus stop. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the Rankyo Gorge bus stop. The bus fare is around 230 yen. The gorge is a short walk from the bus stop, following the signs leading you to the scenic area.
