Walking
If you are in the central area of Arashiyama, such as near the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, head west towards the Togetsukyo Bridge. Cross the bridge, and as you do, you will have a beautiful view of the river and mountains. Once you reach the other side, turn left and follow the path along the riverbank. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, enjoying the views until you reach the entrance to Arashiyama Park Nakanoshima Area.

From the Arashiyama Station, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the station entrance. Take Bus 93 or 28 towards the 'Nakanoshima' or 'Hozu River' directions. The bus ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes. Get off at the 'Nakanoshima' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs leading to Arashiyama Park Nakanoshima Area; it should be a short walk from there.
