Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 204 or 205 towards 'Kitaoji Bus Terminal'. It takes about 30 minutes. Get off at 'Daitokuji-mae' bus stop. Daisen-in Temple is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Exit the bus, head north on Daitokujicho Street, and follow the signs to Daisen-in Temple, which will be on your right.

Subway and Walk
Take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station to Kitaoji Station. This takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Kitaoji Station, use Exit 1 to get to the surface. From there, walk north along Daitokujicho Street for about 15 minutes until you reach Daisen-in Temple, which will be on your left.
