  • Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Get off at Nara Station. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located right outside the station.

    At the Nara Station bus stop, take bus number 97 or 99. These buses head towards the Takabatakecho area. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Sagi Pond' stop. Once you disembark, walk a short distance towards the pond, which will be visibly marked.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from Nara Station, you can take a scenic route. Exit Nara Station and head west along Sanjo-dori Street. Continue straight for about 20 minutes until you reach Takabatakecho. Sagi Pond will be on your right. Follow the path leading to the pond.
