Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Naramachi Street). Walk straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with National Route 369. Turn right at the intersection and walk for another 5 minutes until you see the entrance to Nara Park on your left. Enter the park, and after a short walk, you will see Kofuku-ji Temple. The Kofuku-ji Kokuhokan (National Treasure Hall) is located next to the temple.

Bus
From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus (any bus going towards Nara Park). You can take either the 'Nara Koen' or 'Kofuku-ji' bus lines. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Kofuku-ji bus stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards Kofuku-ji Temple. The National Treasure Hall is located adjacent to the temple.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Nara Station. After renting a bicycle, head towards Naramachi Street and continue to Nara Park. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you reach Nara Park, follow the signs to Kofuku-ji Temple. The Kofuku-ji Kokuhokan (National Treasure Hall) is right next to it.
