Public Transportation
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Special Rapid Service train toward Osaka Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at Tennoji Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the West Exit. From the West Exit, head towards Abeno Harukas, and then walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Shitenno-ji Temple at 1 Chome-11-18 Shitennoji.
Bus
From Kyoto Station, you can also take the Kyoto City Bus #205 or #100 towards Osaka. Get off at 'Shitenno-ji' bus stop. The temple is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head north on Shitennoji Street, and you will reach Shitenno-ji Temple in about 5 minutes.
Train and Walk
From Gion-Shijo Station in Kyoto, take the Keihan Main Line train towards Yodoyabashi and transfer at Yodoyabashi Station to the Midosuji Subway Line towards Nakatsu. Get off at Tennoji Station. From the station, exit through the West Exit and walk towards Abeno Harukas, then continue straight for about 10 minutes to reach Shitenno-ji Temple.
