Getting There

  • Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Osaka Station. Transfer to the JR Osaka Loop Line and get off at Tennoji Station. Once you exit Tennoji Station, follow the signs to the North Exit. After exiting, head east on Abeno-suji Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Shitenno-ji Temple.

  • Subway

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line to Shijo Station. Transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line and travel to Umeda Station. From there, take the Osaka Subway Midosuji Line to Namba Station. Transfer to the Osaka Subway Yotsubashi Line and get off at Nagahoribashi Station. Finally, walk east on Nagahori-dori until you reach Shitenno-ji Temple in about 15 minutes.
