From the center of Gion, head south towards Shijo Avenue (Shijo-dori). You can find the entrance to Sannenzaka by walking down Hanamikoji Street towards the Yasaka Shrine. After passing the shrine, take a right on the first street you encounter, which will lead you to Sannenzaka. The street will gradually incline, and you will see traditional wooden buildings lining the path.

Alternatively, if you are at the Gion Corner or Minami-za Theatre, exit towards the main street (Shijo-dori). Walk south until you reach the intersection with Kiyomizu-zaka Street. Turn left here and continue walking straight; you will eventually reach Sannenzaka, which will be on your right.
