From Nijo Castle, walk southeast towards Karasuma-dori, then east until you reach Gojo-dori Street. Turn left and walk until you reach the intersection with Gojo Ohashi Bridge. The walk from Nijo Castle takes approximately 20 minutes.

    To reach Gojo-dori St & Gojo Ohashi Bridge using public transport, start at Kyoto Station. Take the Karasuma Subway Line and ride for 2 stops to Gojo Station. Exit the station via Exit 1. Once you exit, walk straight for about 10 minutes heading east along Gojo-dori Street. You will reach the intersection with Gojo Ohashi Bridge at Shimozaimokucho, Shimogyo Ward. The subway fare is between 220-360 yen for adults depending on the distance.
