Train
If you are near Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen Line or the JR Kyoto Line. Board a train heading towards Osaka and get off at the next stop, which is 'Kyoto Station'. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the central exit.
Walking
From the central exit of Kyoto Station, head towards the Hachijo Exit. After exiting, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Karasuma-dori. Turn right onto Karasuma-dori and continue walking for about 5 minutes.
Landmark Navigation
As you walk down Karasuma-dori, you will see the Kyoto Tower, a tall cylindrical building. Nidec Kyoto Tower is located right next to it at 721-1 Higashishiokojicho. Look for the entrance that features the Nidec logo. The full address is 〒600-8216 Kyoto, Shimogyo Ward, Higashishiokojicho, 721-1.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station. Get on the train heading towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at the next stop, which is 'Gojo Station'. Take Exit 1 and walk west along Gojo-dori until you reach the intersection with Karasuma-dori. Turn left and continue walking until you see Kyoto Tower. Nidec Kyoto Tower is adjacent to it.
