Getting There

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take Bus number 100 or 206. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Sanjo Keihan.' From the bus stop, walk east along Sanjo Street for about 5 minutes. You will reach Sanjo Ohashi, which is located at Ohashicho, Higashiyama Ward.

  • Public Transport - Subway

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line (green line) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at 'Karasuma Oike' station and transfer to the Tozai Line (light blue line). Take the train towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa and get off at 'Sanjo' station. Exit the station and walk east along Sanjo Street for about 5 minutes to reach Sanjo Ohashi.

  • Walking

    If you're near the Gion area, you can walk to Sanjo Ohashi. Start at Shijo Street and head east until you reach the intersection with Sanjo Street. Turn left and continue walking along Sanjo Street for about 10 minutes. You will see Sanjo Ohashi ahead, connecting the two sides of the Kamo River.
