If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto the Oita Expressway from your current location in Kyushu. Follow the signs for 'Beppu' and take the Beppu IC exit. Once you exit, turn left onto Route 10. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 217. Turn right onto Route 217, and after approximately 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Chinoike Jigoku. The attraction is located at 778 Noda, Beppu, Oita 874-0016. There is parking available on-site, but be aware that there may be a parking fee of around 500 yen.

Public Transportation
To reach Chinoike Jigoku by public transportation, start by taking a train from your location in Kyushu to Beppu Station. Most major cities in Kyushu, such as Fukuoka or Kumamoto, have direct train services to Beppu. Once at Beppu Station, exit and head to the bus terminal located next to the station. Take the Kamenoi Bus bound for 'Chinoike Jigoku' (the bus ride takes about 30 minutes). The bus fare is approximately 500 yen. Once you arrive at the Chinoike Jigoku bus stop, it’s a short walk to the entrance of the attraction.
