If you are driving to Shirataki Waterfall, start on the Kyushu Expressway and take the exit at Gokase. From the exit, follow Route 218 towards Gokase town. Once you reach Gokase, continue on Route 218 for about 12 kilometers until you see signs for Shirataki Waterfall. The waterfall is located in Kuraoka and you will find a parking area near the entrance. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a train to Gokase Station. The train can be accessed from major cities in Kyushu, such as Kumamoto or Fukuoka. Once you arrive at Gokase Station, take a local bus towards Kuraoka, which is the nearest stop to Shirataki Waterfall.
