    If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the Fuji Five Lakes area. From the Mount Fuji area, drive south on Route 138. Follow signs for Narusawa and Fujikawaguchiko, which will lead you to the Aokigahara Forest. The address to enter into your GPS is Narusawa, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0300. There is a parking area available near the entrance of the forest, but note that there may be a small fee for parking.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Aokigahara Forest using public transportation, take a bus from Kawaguchiko Station. Buses to Narusawa are available, and the journey may take about 40 minutes.
