Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the Fuji Five Lakes area. From the Mount Fuji area, drive south on Route 138. Follow signs for Narusawa and Fujikawaguchiko, which will lead you to the Aokigahara Forest. The address to enter into your GPS is Narusawa, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0300. There is a parking area available near the entrance of the forest, but note that there may be a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Aokigahara Forest using public transportation, take a bus from Kawaguchiko Station. Buses to Narusawa are available, and the journey may take about 40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as frequencies may vary. Once you arrive at the Narusawa bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 20 minutes to the forest entrance. Follow the signs towards Aokigahara Forest, and prepare for a scenic walk through the area.

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Kawaguchiko Station or any nearby area in Mount Fuji. Taxis are available at the station and can take you directly to Aokigahara Forest. The ride can take around 30 minutes and costs approximately 5,000 to 7,000 JPY, depending on the traffic and time of day.
