If you're driving, start from the center of Nagato city. Head north on Route 191 towards Shimonoseki. After approximately 30 km, look for signs directing you to Tsunoshima Island. You will need to cross the Tsunoshima Bridge, which offers stunning views. Once you reach the island, follow the signs to Tsunoshima Observatory, which is located at Hohokucho Oaza Kanda, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi 759-5331. There is parking available near the observatory. Note that the bridge has a toll fee, which is approximately 1,000 yen for passenger vehicles.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Nagato Station to Shimonoseki. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 1,500 yen. Once you arrive at Shimonoseki, transfer to a local bus heading towards Tsunoshima Island. The local bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Tsunoshima Observatory stop.
