Walking
If you are already in Sakae, you can reach the @Nagoya Monument by walking. Start at Sakae Station (栄駅) on the Higashiyama Line. Exit the station at the 1A exit. Once you are outside, head east towards the intersection. Walk straight until you reach the large intersection with the Nagoya TV Tower to your left. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the @Nagoya Monument located at 3 Chome-5-14 Marunouchi, Naka Ward, Nagoya on your right side.
Subway
You can also take the subway from Sakae Station. Board a train on the Higashiyama Line towards Takabata. Travel for one stop and alight at Marunouchi Station (丸の内駅). From the Marunouchi Station, you will need to walk approximately 400 meters to reach the @Nagoya Monument. Exit the station and head west on Marunouchi Street, then turn left onto 3 Chome street, and the monument will be on your left.
Bus
Another option is to take a bus from the Sakae area. Head to the nearest bus stop, which is the Sakae Bus Terminal. You can take the Nagoya City Bus #2 towards Nagoya Station. After about 5 minutes, get off at the Marunouchi Bus Stop (丸の内バス停). From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the @Nagoya Monument. Head northwest on Marunouchi Street, and it will be on your right.
