If you're driving to Ikurado Cave from any location on Naoshima Island, start by heading to the Naoshima Port. Make sure you have a vehicle or rental car, as public transportation options may be limited. From Naoshima Port, take a ferry to Takamatsu city. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around ¥1,500. Once you arrive at Takamatsu, drive via Route 11 and then Route 313 towards Niimi. Follow the signs for Ikurado Cave, which is located at 409 Ikura, Niimi, Okayama. The drive from Takamatsu to Ikurado Cave will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Public Transportation
To reach Ikurado Cave using public transportation, start at Naoshima Port and take the ferry to Takamatsu. Once you arrive in Takamatsu, head to Takamatsu Station and take a train on the JR Dosan Line towards Okayama. After approximately 1 hour, alight at Niimi Station. From Niimi Station, you can take a local bus or taxi to Ikurado Cave, which is about a 20-minute ride away. Make sure to check the bus schedule for local services, as they may not run frequently. The total travel time from Naoshima Island to Ikurado Cave using public transport may take around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on transfer times.
