Car

If you are traveling by car, use the Chuo Expressway to head towards Okayama. Take the Okayama Interchange exit and follow the signs to the city center. Once you reach the downtown area, look for signs directing you to Okayama Station. The station is located at 1-1 Ekimotomachi, Kita Ward, Okayama, 700-0024. Parking is available at nearby parking lots, but be prepared to pay for parking, which can range from ¥200 to ¥500 per hour.

Train

If you are using public transportation, the most efficient way is to take a train to Okayama Station. Depending on where you are in Shikoku, you may need to transfer trains. For example, if you are in Takamatsu, take the JR Marine Liner to Okayama Station. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately ¥2,000. If you are in Matsuyama, take the ferry to Takamatsu and then follow the previous instructions. Make sure to check the train schedules in advance as they may vary.

Bus

Alternatively, you can take a highway bus to Okayama Station. Buses run from major cities in Shikoku, such as Matsuyama, Takamatsu, and Kochi. The bus ride from Takamatsu to Okayama takes about 2 hours and costs around ¥2,500. Upon arrival, the bus terminal is adjacent to Okayama Station, making it easy to transfer to the train station.
