Bus
From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus (Route 72) towards Asuka. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Asuka' bus stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the historical sites in Asuka.
Train
From Nara Station, board the Kintetsu Nara Line train towards Kashihara-jingumae Station. Transfer at Yamato-Yagi Station to the Kintetsu Yoshino Line. Take the train to Asuka Station, which takes about 50 minutes total. Once you arrive at Asuka Station, it is a 15-minute walk to the main attractions in the area.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle at Nara Park. Follow the signs towards the Nara Kotsu Bus Terminal and then head towards Route 165. The ride to Asuka is approximately 11 km, taking about 45 minutes. Make sure to stay on the designated bike paths where available.
