From Nara Park, walk to the nearest bus stop, Nara Kintetsu Station. Take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kintetsu Kyoto Station. Once at Kintetsu Kyoto Station, transfer to Bus No. 100 or 203 towards 'Higashiyama' and get off at 'Eikandō' bus stop. The Eikandō Temple is a short walk from the bus stop.

Start at Nara Station and take the JR Nara Line to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Line and travel to Shijo Station.
