Public Transport - Bus
From Kyoto Station, take Bus No. 100 or 206 heading towards 'Nanzenji Eikando-michi.' It takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Nanzenji Eikando-michi' bus stop. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to Tenjuan Temple. Head east on Nanzenji Fukuchicho Street, and you will see the entrance to the temple on your right.

Public Transport - Subway
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line to 'Kitaoji Station.' Transfer to Bus No. 204 or 93, and get off at 'Nanzenji Eikando-michi' bus stop. The journey takes around 30-40 minutes. After getting off, walk east on Nanzenji Fukuchicho Street for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Tenjuan Temple.

If you are near the Gion area, you can also walk to Tenjuan Temple. Start from Gion Shirakawa (the river), and head north towards 'Maruyama Park.' Continue walking through the park until you reach 'Nanzenji Temple.' From there, follow the signs to 'Nanzenji Fukuchicho' and walk about 10 minutes to reach Tenjuan Temple. The scenery is beautiful along the way, so take your time!
