Walking
If you are in the center of Nara, start by heading towards Nara Station. From Nara Station, walk south along Sanjo-dori Street for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Kintetsu Nara Line. Turn left and walk towards Kashihara. Continue straight for about 1.5 km, and you will see signs directing you to Imaicho in Kashihara. The area is well-marked, and you will know you are close when you start seeing traditional buildings and shops.

From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kashihara-jingu-mae Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Kashihara-jingu-mae Station, exit the station and head south on the main road for about 10 minutes. Look for signs pointing to Imaicho, which will be on your right. The area is known for its historical significance and traditional architecture, so you won’t miss it!
