Public Bus
From Nara Park, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. Get off at Kintetsu Kyoto Station. From there, walk to the Kyoto City Bus Terminal located just outside the station. Take Bus No. 100 or 206 and get off at the 'Keage' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 5 minutes east to reach Keage Incline at 339 Higashikomonozacho.
Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. Disembark at Kintetsu Kyoto Station. From Kintetsu Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the subway. Take the Tozai Line (light blue line) towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Get off at Keage Station. Exit the station and walk east for about 10 minutes to reach Keage Incline.
Walking
If you are near Nanba, you can walk to Keage Incline by heading east. Start at Nanba and walk towards the east side of the city, passing through Maruyama Park. Continue walking straight, and you will see the incline ahead. The total walking distance is around 2 kilometers and should take about 25 minutes.
