If you are in Nara Park, head towards the East Gate of the park. Once at the gate, continue on the main path leading towards the base of Mount Wakakusa. Follow the signs that indicate the trail for Mount Wakakusa. The hike will take about 30 minutes, and the path is well-marked. From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kintetsu Nara Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards Nara Park, which is about a 15-minute walk. Enter the park and follow the signs to the East Gate. After reaching the East Gate, continue on the trail leading up to Mount Wakakusa. The hike to the summit will take approximately 30 minutes.
