Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Nara Park, head towards the East Gate of the park. Once at the gate, continue on the main path leading towards the base of Mount Wakakusa. Follow the signs that indicate the trail for Mount Wakakusa. The hike will take about 30 minutes, and the path is well-marked. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and once you reach the summit, you will have a stunning panoramic view of Nara.

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kintetsu Nara Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards Nara Park, which is about a 15-minute walk.
