    From Nara Park, head east on Sanjo Dori. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Zoshicho. Turn right onto Zoshicho and walk for approximately 5 minutes. You will see Nekodan (Cat Stairway) on your left at 406-1 Zoshicho.

    Take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Kintetsu Nara Station and get off at Naramachi Station. Exit the station and walk west towards the main street (Sanjo Dori). From there, head east on Sanjo Dori for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Zoshicho. Turn right onto Zoshicho and walk for approximately 5 minutes. Nekodan (Cat Stairway) will be on your left at 406-1 Zoshicho.
