Walking
If you are at Nara Park (Nara Koen), exit the park towards the main road. Walk south on Sanjo-dori street for about 15 minutes until you reach the Nishikido intersection. Turn left onto Nishikido street and walk straight for 5 minutes. You will find the Naramachi Shiryo-kan Museum at 14-3 Nishinoshinyacho on your right.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus number 2 or 4 from the bus terminal located in front of the station. Get off at the Naramachi bus stop (about a 10-minute ride). After disembarking, walk south along the road for about 5 minutes. The Naramachi Shiryo-kan Museum is located at 14-3 Nishinoshinyacho on your right.

If you are near the Naramachi area already, find the main street, Sanjo-dori. Walk east towards the Nishinoshinyacho area. Continue on Sanjo-dori until you reach the intersection with Nishinoshinyacho street. Turn left and walk straight for about 2 minutes. The Naramachi Shiryo-kan Museum will be on your left at 14-3 Nishinoshinyacho.
