Bus
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Then transfer to the City Bus 100 or 206 from Kyoto Station. Get off at the Okazaki Koen/Heian Jingu-mae stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes along Okazaki Higashitennocho street towards the north until you reach Okazaki Shrine at 51 Okazaki Higashitennocho.
Train and Walk
Catch the Kintetsu Nara Line at Nara Station heading towards Kyoto. Disembark at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. From the station, head towards the bus stop and take the City Bus 100 or 206 towards the Okazaki Koen/Heian Jingu-mae stop. Once you get off, walk approximately 10 minutes along Okazaki Higashitennocho street to reach Okazaki Shrine at 51 Okazaki Higashitennocho.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Nara city center. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to Okazaki Shrine at 51 Okazaki Higashitennocho in Kyoto. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic.
