Walking
If you are in Nara Park, start by heading north towards Nara Station. Once you reach the station, take the JR Yamatoji Line to Kyoto Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. From Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and head to Shijo Station. At Shijo Station, switch to the Keihan Main Line towards Demachiyanagi and get off at Sanjo Station. Exit the station and walk east along Sanjo Street until you reach the intersection at Higashiyama Street. Turn south onto Higashiyama Street and continue walking until you reach Shimokawaracho. Ryōzen Kannon Temple will be on your left at 526-2 Shimokawaracho.
Bus
From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Kotsu Bus Terminal located near Kintetsu Nara Station. Take the No. 2 bus to Kyoto Station. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, follow the signs to the Karasuma Subway Line and take the subway to Shijo Station. At Shijo Station, switch to the Keihan Main Line towards Demachiyanagi and get off at Sanjo Station. After exiting, walk east along Sanjo Street, turn south onto Higashiyama Street, and walk until you reach Shimokawaracho. Ryōzen Kannon Temple will be on your left at 526-2 Shimokawaracho.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Nara. Simply tell the driver 'Ryōzen Kannon Temple in Kyoto' or show them the address: 526-2 Shimokawaracho, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto. The journey should take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic, and it will take you directly to the temple.
