Walking
If you're starting from Nara Park, head north towards the Nara National Museum. From the museum, exit onto the main road (Nara Park Road) and turn left. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Route 369. Cross the road and continue straight for about 15 minutes until you see Yakushi-ji on your right at 457 Nishinokyocho.
Bus
From Nara Station, take the bus number 70 or 72 towards the Yakushi-ji Temple. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Yakushi-ji bus stop, and from there, it's just a short walk to the temple entrance. Yakushi-ji is located at 457 Nishinokyocho.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from Nara Park and head west towards the Naramachi area. Follow the signs to Nishinokyocho, and after about 30 minutes of cycling, you will reach Yakushi-ji at 457 Nishinokyocho. There are bike racks available near the temple for parking.
Taxi
If you prefer a taxi, you can easily find one at various points around Nara, including Nara Station or near Nara Park. Simply tell the driver to take you to Yakushi-ji Temple at 457 Nishinokyocho. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
