    Getting There

    Bus

    From Nara Park, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Nara Kintetsu Station'. Take the Kintetsu Bus bound for 'Hieizan Sakamoto' (ひえいざん坂本行き). The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you reach the 'Yumemigaoka' bus stop, exit the bus and follow the signs pointing towards the observation deck. It's a short uphill walk from the bus stop, approximately 10 minutes.

    Train and Walk

    Make your way to 'Nara Station' and board the JR Nara Line train towards 'Kyoto'. Get off at 'Otsu Station', which takes about 30 minutes. From Otsu Station, you can either take a local bus or walk. If walking, exit the station, head northwest on Route 1 for about 3 kilometers until you reach Yumemigaoka Observation Deck. The walk will take approximately 40 minutes and offers scenic views along the way.
