Exit Otsu Station and walk to the bus terminal. Take the Bus No. 20 towards Miidera and get off at 'Miidera' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Lake Biwa Canal. Follow the signs leading to Miidera Temple, and you will find the canal nearby.

    Take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Nara Station to Kintetsu Kyoto Station (approximately 45 minutes). From Kintetsu Kyoto Station, switch to the JR Line and take the train to Otsu Station (approximately 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Otsu Station, head towards the bus terminal and take Bus No. 20 towards Miidera. Get off at the 'Miidera' stop and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Lake Biwa Canal.

    If you are in the vicinity of Miidera Temple, simply head towards the main entrance of the temple. From there, follow the path leading away from the temple grounds heading towards the lake.
