Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Osaka Namba. Transfer at Tsuruhashi Station to the JR Yamatoji Line towards Nara, and travel to Ibaraki Station. Once at Ibaraki Station, exit the station and head east towards the main road. Follow the signs to the bus stop and take the bus towards Daimonji. The Aigawa Dam will be a short walk from the bus stop.

From Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. At Yamato-Saidaiji, transfer to the bus service heading towards Ibaraki. The bus will take you directly to the vicinity of Aigawa Dam. Look for the stop named 'Daimonji' and disembark there. From the bus stop, it is a brief walk to the dam.
